As well as offering the same features as the free version (anti-virus and anti-spyware capabilities, and LinkScanner), AVG Anti-Virus 9.0 and AVG Internet Security 9.0. have a number of other benefits as well.

These include an online shield which lets computer users download and swop files without a risk of virus infection; advanced anti-rootkit protection which protects against the worse types of threat; a game mode which, as the name implies, protects game players; phishing protection, to ensure web pages are as safe as they claim to be; and, free export technical support whenever its needed.

AVG Internet Security 9.0 also benefits from identity protection, which allows the user to keep their private information just that, private; an enhanced firewall which stops hackers from invading your computer’s defences and having a look inside your system; and, an anti-spam system which helps your computer stay free of spammers and scammers.
